Breastfeeding and Pumping at Walt Disney World- Magic Kindgom
The most magical place on earth is just as magical to visit when you are breastfeeding and pumping. Walt Disney World has made it very easy and convenient to express milk for your baby while visiting. As you are planning your trip to the Magic Kingdom, many breastfeeding or pumping mothers think about where and how they will feed their baby in the park. Here are some great tips for breastfeeding at the Magic Kingdom.
Where can I breastfeed or pump at Walt Disney World?
-Anywhere and Everywhere
At all Disney Parks and Resorts, you are able to breastfeed and pump anywhere you want. Really, anywhere! Whether you are waiting in line for a ride or even on a ride you can express milk.
Florida Public Health Law 383.015 states: A mother may breastfeed her baby in any location, public or private, where the mother is otherwise authorized to be, irrespective of whether the nipple of the mother’s breast is uncovered during or incidental to the breastfeeding.
-Visit a Baby Care Center
Disney has a designated baby care area at each of the parks at Walt Disney World. These spaces are conveniently located and full of areas to help you and your baby enjoy the parks to their fullest. Inside of the Magic Kingdom, the Baby Care Center is located at the end of Main Street to the left of the castle by the Crystal Palace Restaurant.
Inside you will find a large seating area filled with plenty of seating and Disney movies playing in the background. Off of the main room is a large group nursing room with multiple rocking chairs, a changing room with large changing tables, a restroom and a private single mother nursing room. Available if needed are free baby care items such as diapers, wipes, and bottles.
Whether you need a place to cool off and rest while your baby naps, a place to feed or pump or just need an extra diaper…Disney has truly thought of it all when it comes to breastfeeding and pumping mothers.
Can I bring expressed breast milk in the parks?
Yes! All of the Walt Disney World parks allow you to bring in a small cooler filled with ice or ice packs to keep your prepared milk cold while visiting. If needed, you can always warm bottled milk by placing it in a cup of warm water, you can ask for this at any of the
